Students are invited to stay after school with me on Wednesday or Thursday to review for the
final exam.
             
       

Week 5/25- 5/29

Monday- Memorial Day

Tuesday- Vocabulary of Vietnam War / complete packet info
                Watergate scandal
                 Take-Home Quiz due Thursday

Wednesday- Science practical test will be given all day so remaining students in class will be in computer lab researching the British government attempt to assassinate Hitler (linked on blog) with the primary sources provided.

Thursday -  Review packet for final exam-students given essay topic choices for final exam

Week 5/18- 5/22

Tuesday - Early Cold War Notes Packet - Section Three   American Culture
complete cartoon, Nuremberg Trials cloze activity, remaining primary sources by Thursday as needed

Wednesday- Reading Like a Historian: Who was more responsible for the Cold War?


Thursday- Finish answering question as needed, review Early Cold War packet (graded)


Friday- Foreign Aid Debate in groups, CNN Student News

Optional:  Test corrections due by Friday on WWII

Week 5/4- 5/8

Monday -   Continuing with the packet/question from Friday:  Should we have dropped the bombs
                   on  Japan?  Students will work with partners, looking at primary sources to help them
                  answer that  question.    
                 After completing the graphic organizer, students will respond with a written 
                 paragraph response.   Due tomorrow

Tuesday-  Powerpoint notes/discussion on aftermath of war including Nuremberg Trials

Wednesday- Red Work Books review of WWII/ HW:  Study and organize notes

Thursday- Chapter test- open note

Friday- Begin Early Cold War Years - Chapter    Textbook, section one

Thursday-  Notes Packet 2-  War's Impact on America:  The Home Front
Great Depression tests returned.

Appeasement and timeline HW due

Friday-  Japanese Internment- day 1

Extra Credit Option:  Biography and questions of Hitler's early years

Anyone not finishing Great Depression test needs to do so by Wednesday.
