Week 5/4- 5/8

Monday -   Continuing with the packet/question from Friday:  Should we have dropped the bombs
                   on  Japan?  Students will work with partners, looking at primary sources to help them
                  answer that  question.    
                 After completing the graphic organizer, students will respond with a written 
                 paragraph response.   Due tomorrow

Tuesday-  Powerpoint notes/discussion on aftermath of war including Nuremberg Trials

Wednesday- Red Work Books review of WWII/ HW:  Study and organize notes

Thursday- Chapter test- open note

Friday- Begin Early Cold War Years - Chapter    Textbook, section one

Great Depression tests returned.

Appeasement and timeline HW due

Friday-  Japanese Internment- day 1

Extra Credit Option:  Biography and questions of Hitler's early years

Anyone not finishing Great Depression test needs to do so by Wednesday.

Wednesday-Friday   Computer Lab research on some of the famous celebrities as well as an "interview" with one of them-student choice.
